Trivia[edit | edit source]

In the episode[edit | edit source]

  • The first time Dan loses in a battle. Presumably due to not having Drago at that time and finally a rematch as redemption to win with.
  • When Dan was thinking about his battle against Rikimaru, the flashback of the battle is entirely different. None of it occurs where Siege deflected Drago's attack on him by the effect of the Gate Card. Thus this is more of an alternate timeline scene that Dan imagines that depicts what would have happened to Drago if he had listened to Dan and not broken free from the ability.

Background[edit | edit source]

English dub changes[edit | edit source]

  • The shot of the river and the school is shortened for time.
  • The scene where Masquerade talks to Ryo is shortened for time.
  • The scene where Ryo is in front of the mask is shortened also. Also, it fades from white instead of purple.
  • When the battle is about to start, Dan thinks to himself "This geek is going down." But this doesn't happen in the original.
  • The Bakupod shot of Reaper alone on the battlefield is shortened for time.
  • The scene of Dan holding Drago and talking to him is shorter.
  • The shot of the bridge and Drago and Dan laying down is a lot shorter.
  • Drago attacking Reaper is shorter in this version.
  • Masquerade thinks to himself "We'll see about that" in this version, but doesn't think anything in the original.
